Pleasing to the eye but narratively befuddled, Jupiter Ascending delivers another visually thrilling misfire from the Wachowskis.

“Plot holes” are there, sure, but the imagery on-screen is so stirring it’s hard to care. Go to Full Review

The storytelling is clumsy, the characters are befuddling, and the Wachowskis' action sequences - once so graceful and thrilling - are ugly, noisy, and worst of all, boring. Go to Full Review

Frederick Apr 23 Highly underrated movie… See more Mikel O @RT91580534 12h Another incredibly underrated film from the Wachowskis. Most of the folks that are giving it bad reviews just aren’t able to really take in the quirkiness and creativity of their work. Mila Kunis is fantastic, Channing Tatum not quite so but it’s still incredibly enjoyable. Seeing Terry Gilliam in a cameo that has callbacks to his masterpiece Brazilsays everything you need to know about this film and the intelligence behind it. If you’re not able to enjoy quirky funny creativity then I pity you this won’t be for you. See more Derek R @Derik69 3d I would rather shove a chicken up my asshole wile I jack off to hard core gay porn that to ever watch that again See more Davene J @TheFabD Mar 4 Plot holes, a few bad cast members, bad acting. Did Eddie Redmayne really deserve an Oscar for playing a cripple - I'm rethinking that alot. Michael Keaton for sure. Anyway Mila, Sean Bean are good actors and her Mom was good. That was a lot of money to waste on a lame story that could have been fantastic. The premise was excellent but they took it nowhere. I did like all the creatures they were interesting if not really scary. Tatum and Mila were the best part of the story and not on screen enough. No sexual tension which seems impossible yet Lilly Wachowski pulled it off. See more zentraveljen 1. @zentraveljen Feb 8 Hidden gem! It’s a shame the sound production difficulties brought the ratings down. I wish they’d filmed the entire trilogy. See more Haley D @hdennison Jan 28 Channing Tatum didn't deserve this movie. He's better than this. Pretty horrible but they tried. The acting if terrible and the makeup is worse. I don't know how the makeup looks as bad as buffy the vampire slayer vampire looks but it does.
