This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I'm embarrassed to even admit that I watched it. It was so predictable and at times, I was wondering if it was a parody! It jumped around from action sequence to entirely too long action sequence so much so that I found myself fast-forwarding through them. Like enough explosions and zooming aroujd! The reptile aliens were just stupid. The plot was okay but the love story was started too soon and these 2 didn't even know each other before she was professing her love for him. Some of the acting was decent, but it did not from the main characters. It feels like Kunis and Tatum did this for the paycheck. If Mila Kunis was hoping to get more movie roles from this, she failed miserably. Channing Tatum had so much shit on his face I don't know if he could make an expression if he even tried. The whole movie was just weird and dumb. 😂

Always humorous to read the critic’s reviews that whine about "muddled" or "incomprehensible" storylines. Inevitably, they’re plots that are more involved that watching paint dry; typically science fiction. As the man said, that fault lies, not in the film plots, but in the film critics minimal brains. Simply put, Jupiter Ascending is an impressive blending of teen girl romance fantasy and SFX action pic. The plot is more creative than your typical big budget space opera, and the art direction is impressive. It’d be a smarmy action pic without good direction, solid dialogue, and another excellent effort by Mila Kunis, who breathes life into what could’ve been a dull character.
