Located off the coast of Costa Rica, the Jurassic World luxury resort provides a habitat for an array of genetically engineered dinosaurs, including the vicious and intelligent Indominus rex. When the massive creature escapes, it sets off a chain reaction that causes the other dinos to run amok. Now, it's up to a former military man and animal expert to use his special skills to save two young brothers and the rest of the tourists from an all-out, prehistoric assault.

Just as the dictionary definition of "spectacle" states, the blockbuster is unusual, notable, and entertaining in an eye-catching, dramatic, and very public way. It is big, loud, and dumb, but, hot damn, it sure is fun.

THE NASHVILLE I

Jurassic Park made dinosaurs a genuine wonder, Jurassic World makes them farm animals ready to be tamed. No pun- the writers completely took the teeth out of this movie. The writers clearly had an obsession with Chris Pratt constantly making him look like a godly figure, and Bryce Howard's misused as a stiff character when she's really a character actor.
