JUST BREATHE is a tense thriller that combines raw intensity with profound emotional depth, resulting in a compelling narrative that lingers long after the credits roll. The film follows Nick Bianco (Kyle Gallner), who plans to rebuild his life and win back the love of his life after a year spent in prison for assault. Upon his release, Nick learns that the target of his affections has another admirer, Chester (Shawn Ashmore), his no-nonsense parole officer. Nick soon finds himself caught in a gripping rivalry that threatens not only his second chance at love but also his chance to stay out of prison.

Just Breathe (2025) Deserved a Better Budget, Screenplay, Edition and Lead Actress (12,096 – 29 Nov 2025 – by Claudio Carvalho) Nick (Kyle Gallner) is a man under therapy for anger management. He intends to propose his girlfriend Mel (Emyri Crutchfield) to marry him in the best restaurant in town. While rehearsing in the toilet, Nick overhears a malicious comment of his waiter to his colleagues and beats him. The man is put in coma and Nick is sent to prison. One year later, he is released on probation, and his father Tony (William Forsythe) criticizes his temper. Nick visits Mel at her new home, rented from the landlord Chester (Shawn Ashmore), who gives much attention to her. Soon Nick discovers that Chester is his probation officer. Further, he is interested in Mel and is a psychopath. But he is under his control. "Just Breathe" (2025) is a thriller with a good story and acting of Shawn Ashmore, Kyle Gallner and the veteran William Forsythe. This movie deserved a better budget, screenplay, edition and lead actress since Emyri Crutchfield is too week for the role of Mel. She shows neither the necessary emotions the role demands nor is attractive enough for the dispute between the two protagonists. My vote is six. Kyle Gallner is way better than this parolee script lets him be. Trying to control his anger issues, he's given a parole officer with eyes for his ex girlfriend.
