      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Just My Luck asks little of its leads and less of its audience, adding up to a middling teen rom-com that sorely lacks sparks.

Galatea M A fun rom com for something light hearted and easy to digest. More so aimed at a younger audience. A product of its time, it's a little clunky. Though considering the great cast and while acknowledging the moments of simple fun… It's worth a watch for a laugh at the younger and now much more famous cast members, or a movie to easily enjoy with the tween members of the family. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/02/24 Full Review Jon L Loved this!!!! Lindsay and Chris were both so good Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/24 Full Review KalniTah Uma sorte é assistir um filme com história bem construída Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/24 Full Review Michael T Teen rom-com genre transferred to young adults in the workaday world. Supernatural events transfer Lohan's perfect luck to Pine who has all bad luck and vice versa. A weak script makes this outing pedestrian at best. The leads are likeable enough to keep you interested, but there is no great comedy and the story is totally predictable. This must have been one of Pine's first lead roles. I can't think why he would have gotten involved in this otherwise. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/22/23 Full Review Yan S It was ok comedy movie about couples and story is a bit old Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/18/23 Full Review h The intricate plot and superb acting create a truly immersive experience, drawing viewers into the world of the characters and their struggles. The film's stunning cinematography and special effects only add to the sense of awe and wonder, making it a must-see for any lover of cinema. Brianna Wellen Chicago Reader This movie is less about the two main characters falling in love and more about exploring the equilibrium of good will in the universe. It's a mystical fantasy about how each decision we make matters and the differing paths life can take. Feb 15, 2019 Full Review Geoffrey Macnab Guardian The real rot is in the script.
