matthias s Justice League: The New Frontier is a decent addition to the DC animated movie universe. While it does have its flaws, it is still an enjoyable film for fans of the Justice League and superhero action in general. One of the strengths of the movie is its storyline and the introduction of new characters, such as the Martian Manhunter and the Green Lantern, adds to the already rich roster of the Justice League and provides fresh perspectives on the familiar heroes. The animation style is also noteworthy. The retro 1950s/60s art style captures the essence of the time period and adds a unique visual flair to the film. The action sequences are well choreographed and exciting, and the voice acting is solid, with notable performances from David Boreanaz as Hal Jordan and Neil Patrick Harris as The Flash. However, the movie is not without its shortcomings. The pacing can be slow at times, and some of the character development feels rushed or underdeveloped. Additionally, the main villain, while interesting, does not quite live up to the buildup and feels somewhat underwhelming in the grand scheme of things. Justice League: The New Frontier is a decent animated movie that is worth a watch for new and hardcore fans of the Justice League and superhero action. While it may not be the best DC animated movie out there, it is still an entertaining ride with an interesting story and unique animation style. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/09/23 Full Review Hal N Just as cute as the comic, love the art style Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/16/23 Full Review Arden T As long as you're even somwhat familiar with these characters, it's easy to follow. Iconic super heroes like superman, wonder woman, batman, flash and green lantern. Hal gordon becomes lantern in here and manhunter adapts to the life of an earthling. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/06/23 Full Review Baby G This is probably the best GL movie. All the characters are great! The only complaint I have is with some of the designs. As for the story and characters, they are fantastic! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/14/23 Full Review Scuba S In 1 hour this movie tries to, rather sloppily, give the backstory for Green Lantern and the Martian manhunter in an alternate 1950's justice league with a rather strange composition that has to fight one of the goofiest villains I have ever seen. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/10/23 Full Review kennie b A nice origin story for the Silver Age Justice League. It has the look and feel of the time. A very enjoyable outing. Witney Seibold Critically Acclaimed The central problem with "Justice League: The New Frontier" is that Bruce Timm's clear, square-jawed animation style doesn't match the tone... Director Bullock, rather than using his film's style as a necessary distancing tool, merely revels in it. Feb 6, 2019 Full Review Kevin Carr 7M Pictures a joy for an old-school comic book fan, and hopefully a view of some awesome things to come. Rated: 4/5 Feb 27, 2008 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Film Threat Much more of a sophisticated outing this time around, and while it may go over the heads of younger audiences, there's a lot to be gained for older folks looking for more than one-liners and knockdown drag out tussles between titans... Rated: 4/5 Feb 25, 2008 Full Review James O'Ehley Sci-Fi Movie Page The first 45 minutes is fantastic. Pity about the rest . . . Feb 22, 2008 Full Review Read all reviews
