Audience Member Possibly the worst movie ever made, so if you are into cult-classic-awful-movies, perhaps this will be for you. If you think that a time-traveling Harriet Tubman who lands in a modern-day courtroom to sing an off-key mournful ballad about Moses, or a bloody eye-gouged Emmett Till, can shed light on the complex question of reparations for slavery, you unfortunately have another think coming. If you in fact think two times, that will be two times more than the makers of this shallow, poorly conceived and dreadfully acted amateur production. The topic deserves a thoughtful examination, presenting the arguments, both logical and emotional, on one or both sides of the issue. One would expect facts to play a major part. In this flimsy project, both sides were argued and both failed miserably. However much you might be interested in this topic, save yourself the time and the disappointment. Maybe someday someone will elucidate the concept of reparations. Today, alas, is not that day. You have been warned. Then again, maybe if your expectations are low enough it’s worth a quirky shot.
