Steve D The characters aren't really developed enough to care. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review jacques k Very watchable exciting mix of action, drama, comedy, political intrigue and romance. Action scenes are particularly excellent. Performances from most of those involved are very good. Not a single episode is boring. The whole series is extreme l. Highly recommended. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/28/22 Full Review Audience Member Very realistic portrayal of everything that could go wrong in a summit to K2. Good character build-up between the two leads actors that truly carry the film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Enjoyed it a lot. On the shortlist for mountain climbers. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member One of "the" best films on mountaineering. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member K2 tells the story of Taylor Brooks (Michael Biehn) and Harold Jameson (Matt Craven). Longtime climbing partners at two very different stages in life. Taylor is a brash lawyer with few responsibilities while Harold (or H) is a professor and family man looking to please both his family and best friend. A chance encounter with billionaire Phillip Claiborne (Raymond J. Barry) presents Taylor and H with an opportunity for one last big adventure: K2, the second tallest mountain in the world. The movie offers some classic one dimensional characters, stellar scenery and a story that will keep you entertained throughout. The perfect choice for those jonesing for a climbing movie not set on a mountain called Everest. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Geoff Brown Times (UK) A handsome but redundant movie, with an expanded cast chattering away at the highest altitudes. Aug 18, 2021 Full Review Derek Malcolm Guardian K2's intrepid cinematography is not matched by a very convincing script. But you can't have everything and at least the film delivers on the mountain if not in the mind. Aug 18, 2021 Full Review Stephen Amidon Financial Times It is when director Franc Roddam and writer Patrick Meyers try to deepen the characters and say something about male bonding that the story plummets. Aug 18, 2021 Full Review Malcolm Johnson Hartford Courant With its incredible panoramas of snowy peaks, and convincing stunt work at what seems to be a very high altitude, K2 makes an entertaining enough travelogue. May 31, 2018 Full Review Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews Forget about climbing the mountain, I found it difficult enough just sitting through this film.
