Brian Tallerico RogerEbert.com Despite its flaws, “K-Pops!” was undeniably made with love—love for music, pop culture, family, and the variety we can find in this magical world. Sep 8, 2024 Full Review Shawn Peer That Shelf [K-Pops!] may not leave a lasting impression, but it tells an enjoyable and relatable story, and that’s, to an extent, enough. Nov 1, 2024 Full Review Nate Adams The Movie Sleuth To its credit, the movie isn’t mean or condescending on the world of pop music, but it’s too broad and choppy to be anything other than a below-average father/son comedy. Rated: C Sep 28, 2024 Full Review Isabella Soares Collider With energetic dance sequences and a heartwarming bond between a father and a son, K-Pops! is a bundle of joy that rarely misses a beat. Rated: 7/10 Sep 17, 2024 Full Review Rendy Jones Rendy Reviews YES LAWD," K-Pops! is a charming debut that captures the energy of a PG-13 family comedy from the early 2000s – think School of Rock meets Big Daddy – and creates a lighthearted vibe for all to enjoy. Rated: 3/5 Sep 16, 2024 Full Review Stephen Saito Moveable Fest While his character in his feature debut might suffer from having too much confidence as he strives towards a career as a top-shelf producer, .Paak's energetic debut feature is winning for all the same reasons.
