Jay Weissberg Variety Just an excuse for more splatter from a director who, as always, knows his target audience. Jan 22, 2015 Full Review Ard Vijn ScreenAnarchy This makes for a two-hour-long film with plenty of exciting special effects-filled action scenes, but with frustratingly little plot. Slay B CHAT I LOVE THIS MOVIE MORE THAN I LOVE MYSELF!! THE MOVIE IS AN AWESOME MANGA THAT U SHOULD TOTALLY READ!1!!!111!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/09/24 Full Review Tyler G I always appreciate works like this because I feel like others who may not be fans of anime would like the plot and be potentially drawn to it as a result of watching something like this. Squid game clearly took inspiration from this movie since this came out much before. This was a good film with intense scenes, and interesting games that contemplate mortality and relationships along the way. Watching the main character navigate each puzzle was fun and worth watching. The film felt whole hearted and full circle, and I wasn't left wanting much more. I feel like I got what I expected from this film. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/19/24 Full Review John S Just a terribly bad and toxic film.
