Miike directs a paranoid film that plays out as a video game, with the protagonists having to overcome trials given by dolls, in order to progress to the next stage. The slapstick humor and the bloodbaths, however, make this one a distinct Miike film

Honestly I loved the movie, it was stupid cringe but fun, and I thought Kamiki Ryunosuke did an amazing job playing the sadistic psychopath, if you are okay with gore and stupidness I recommend this one, mainly watched it for Kamiki Ryunosuke, he carried the movie in my opinion.

This is the moment you realize that this movie is "The Squid Game" even before "The Squid Game" was released. It's a violent movie but really good, I recommend watching it, I enjoyed every moment, it's a good work but not perfect, that's why I give it 4.5 out of 5, because there were a few boring moments, but in the case of this movie - the good outweighs the boring.

I always appreciate works like this because I feel like others who may not be fans of anime would like the plot and be potentially drawn to it as a result of watching something like this. Squid game clearly took inspiration from this movie since this came out much before. This was a good film with intense scenes, and interesting games that contemplate mortality and relationships along the way. Watching the main character navigate each puzzle was fun and worth watching. The film felt whole hearted and full circle, and I wasn't left wanting much more. I feel like I got what I expected from this film.
