Harley J 12/18/2022 When I first heard about this film, I thought it would be a boring documentary with cool cinematography. It was one of those things. (The cinematography was incredible!!) This film tells the story of a Joey in a narrative form. It feels more like a fantasy film than a documentary. I can't describe how I felt when I watched this film. I will tell you this. I cried. The characters were incredibly well written. The Ariel cinematography was chef's kiss. The voice over was amazing! 10/10 recommend. See more dave d 12/17/2022 Shot over a picturesque Austrailian mountainside, "Kangeroo Valley" highlights not only the survival of Kangaroos, but also some of their arch enemies as well! Focused on one particular joey, the documentary is heartfelt, but also informative. We learn about the hierarchy of the monarchy or roos and also the dingos. It is a solid addition, but might be a touch too tense for younger children! Stunning cinematography, engaging narration and adorable kangaroos! My granddaughter has already asked to watch it again and declared the kangaroo her new favorite animal.
