Sarah Snook
Born and in Adelaide, Australia, Sarah Snook graduated from the Sydney National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2008. Her first professional on screen appearance came in 2009, when she had a guest spot on the Australian medical drama "All Saints" (Seven Network, 1998-2009). She earned accolades for her role in the TV movie "Sisters of War" (ABC1, 2010), playing an army nurse who was kept as a prisoner of war during WWII. Snook got her first taste of international attention when she played a supporting role in the film "Sleeping Beauty" (2011), which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and was produced by Jane Campion. In 2014, Snook won the Australian Film Critics Association Award for Best Actress, for her role in the time travel thriller "Predestination" (2014), and the next year the same organization nominated her twice as Best Supporting Actress for her roles in "The Dressmaker" (2015) and "Oddball" (2015). Snook boosted her profile the same year, when she appeared in a supporting role in the Danny Boyle film "Steve Jobs" (2015). In 2018, she appeared in the horror film "Winchester" (2018), and played a lead role in the series "Succession" (HBO, 2018-).
