Karl Quinn The Age (Australia) There's much to enjoy in this darkly comic update of Cain and Abel. Jan 5, 2019 Full Review David Stratton The Australian Although Brothers' Nest feels very much like a short story uncomfortably expanded to feature length, it's not unentertaining. Rated: 3/5 Jun 22, 2018 Full Review Luke Buckmaster Guardian The Jacobsons have given us another comedy classic, far stranger than the last. Rated: 4/5 Jun 21, 2018 Full Review Andiee Paviour Nobody's Reading This But Me They might not look it, being burly and impassive, but brothers Terry and Jeff (actual brothers Shane and Clayton Jacobson, who also directs) are desperate men. Rated: 4/5 Jul 7, 2019 Full Review Filipe Freitas Always Good Movies Boasting a fantastic score by Richard Pleasance and his Pleasantville band, the film takes some time to build up, but the writing is effective, pointing out to a tough, unrelenting, and intense final part. Rated: 3.5/5 May 8, 2019 Full Review Blake Howard Flicks (AU, NZ, UK) Brothers' Nest is a well made, nasty piece of work. Rated: 3/5 Dec 14, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member This film may well have been well produced. It was dark and it was supposed to be. It had that melancholy feeling to it throughout. Well acted. However, it was a snooze fest. People often say "It was alright for an Australian film". I used to hate that, and tried to be patriotic, but Australia can make some awful films at times. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting but slow moving story. For me it was lacking in the humour department. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Alias A Amazing movie must watch it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/29/20 Full Review Audience Member Brilliantly executed dark comedy with an underlying twisted family drama for good measure. Achieves a great balance between humour and emotion. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member This film made my top ten films for 2018. Single location thriller done exceptionally well. For the full review see vanessasnonspoilers.com Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH MOVIE! This has to be the worst Austalian movie I have seen. The plot was slow and negative not a comedy at all, to make things worse the ending was disgusting and disturbing. DONT WATCH IT!!
