In a welcome example of representation that matters situationally and symbolically, all the actors playing deaf characters in the six-part series are deaf. And there’s nuance in how Moulton writes them. Go to Full Review

Alain E @AlainE Dec 24 Very satisfactory police procedural with the added variable of involving persons with deafness. The story doesn’t have too many unrealistic elements. One medical item that I noticed is that if the spleen is injured by gunshot most likely you have to remove the organ, not just the bullet. The acting was great and it was amazing to watch this through the POV of someone who is deaf. See more Jonah H @storees Oct 4 Really unique story. Enjoyed it a lot. However, some decisions felt unrealistic—adults wouldn’t have made them. See more John W @fastbyte22 Aug 29 We really enjoyed this show very much. Some of these British shows have some engaging and unique plot ideas and this is certainly one of them. Just a fun watch while the writer mixes thing up very well. See more Read all reviews
