Any explanation is stretched in an unrealistic way.. humans don’t speak like that. A character sees a pattern and start an exhausting explaination THEN shows the same pattern on an internet site. Any good writer would use the reveal: “I’ve seen this already” and then gather attention for the subsequent explanation. Filler, long, boring, nothing really happens.
