Juan Carlos Galindo El Pais (Spain) ...the third season of Invasion on Apple TV+ develops...a powerful storyline on the subject, integrated with skill and balance into a rhythm that has not abandoned the action and is more focused...[Full review in Spanish] Aug 25, 2025 Full Review Joel Keller Decider This is a rare case that, while this is part of a continuing story with lots of characters that are familiar to fans of the show, it’s in a way an entirely new story and adventure. Aug 25, 2025 Full Review Andrew Murray The Upcoming The newest season continues to take this globe-trotting sci-fi thriller in interesting new directions as a fresh threat emerges. Rated: 3/5 Aug 23, 2025 Full Review Archi Sengupta LeisureByte.com Invasion Season 3 is very slow, slower than you'd expect, and although it does pick up later on, it feels a little too late. Rated: 2.5/5 Aug 22, 2025 Full Review Jeff Ewing Collider Season 3 is Invasion at its best yet, bringing in a host of factors to meet new challenges, and it pays off as this group of heroes pivots from defense to offense. Rated: 8/10 Aug 21, 2025 Full Review Katie Doll CBR [Invasion] still manages to miss the giant step it's trying to take to secure itself as a prestigious sci-fi drama. Anton H Decent cast and special effects but the writing is meh. Some genuine cliche, appalling group of completely unbelievable "special" forces, characters that die then next scene are alive, characters who teleport to places for reasons. The aliens dont seem to have a reason for being on Earth. Good show to look at from time to time while scrolling your socials. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/10/25 Full Review Matte K Plot/Directing so weak I wrote my first review about it. Season 1 was a bit slow but building, season 2 was kind of nice, good effects and the story was unfolding. Now I'm in the middle of season 3 and it is a cluster feck! Really bad directing, the gun fights are hilarious bad, Military is portrait as intellectual challenge! All characters are stuck, no development at al! Angry mom is angry, helping stepdad is calming and stone cold super trooper Trevonte is the only thing worth watching. TLDR Check out seasons one and two if your curious but skip the 3rd season, the ending of season 2 was good enough! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/09/25 Full Review Skolp ' Invasion is a gorgeous void, great FX, wasted designs, and absolutely nothing underneath. It drags for three seasons pretending to be psychological sci-fi while offering only hollow characters, limp dialogue, and endless scenes of people fainting over “mystery.” Every emotional moment falls flat, every twist is obvious or meaningless, and the story could fit in two episodes if you stripped the filler. It’s a pretentious loop of misery, and pseudo-depth that confuses emptiness for art. By the time it ends, you realize it had no plan, no message, just that post-it: "love so magic, humans war bad, aliens not bad cuz nature be nature." I swear, this is all this series will give you to think and marvel about, don't waste your time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/06/25 Full Review Gideon S I tried, I really did. I thought the first season was interesting for a freshman attempt. Season 2 built good ground but eventually went no where, so I just hoped that Season 3 would answer some questions. This season just meandered and half the cast was crying or trying to get Cole to search his feelings and cry some more. One character seemed to only exist to force Cole to delve into his feelings all season long over and over again and just made him cry. I also couldn't buy all the girl power trips that were all over season 3. The show was completely lead by women in every aspect to the point that it made little to no sense even if only for the odds that sometimes guys are involved in important plot points too. I guess not in this world. Ultimately, you learn nothing. It was a McGuffin hunt and an extended The View episode done in a sci-fi sheen. It was sci-fi written by a women's lit majors who don't understand the genre. Nothing was explained and you really get no motivation at all. And when the plot needed to move along they just made up motivation or memory wiping or whatever to get the characters from once place to they next. Could someone just tell me what the point of the story was? Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/03/25 Full Review vincent k Very well acted and well directed. Visuals were very good. What spoiled it all was the extraordinarily loooong script/ dialogue. The whole series could have been reduced to just one season. The ending was so disappointing and appeared so unimaginatively formulated. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/01/25 Full Review Mike S Can’t believe I sat through to the end of s3 Effects and some of the sci fi ok but the script increasingly riddled with poor cliches and long shots of the cast doing miserable meaningful acting faces instead of progressing the plot By the end I wanted the aliens to eat the whole soddinng lot of the miserable wankers Could have been way shorter and way better Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/30/25 Full Review Read all reviews
