Dimensional travel, vengeful relatives and spurts of bloody violence set the tone for a series that remains a cartoonish change of pace. Go to Full Review

Gunn clearly loved these damaged characters enough to carry them over to his shiny new universe, but he is also never afraid to put them through the wringer. It makes even the tiniest victories in their lives feel momentous. Go to Full Review

Like the first season, the second season of Peacemaker risks stretching too few jokes over too many hours—even if sometimes the joke going on for too long is the joke. But it’s also strangely fascinating. Go to Full Review

While the show’s heartfelt and humorous ensemble cast delivers, the story fails to live up to its potential, making for a disappointing entry early in the DCU. Go to Full Review

S2 starts a little rocky, with Gunn heavily retconning the finale of the first season to fit into his new DC Universe... [After this], the series settles back into its... groove, mixing big action set-pieces, irreverent humour and surprising emotion. Go to Full Review

Even with some complaints, Gunn and John Cena have accomplished incredibly impressive things in bringing Peacemaker to life over the past four years. Season 2 is an enjoyably intimate and organic character study of one of DC’s most absurd characters. Go to Full Review

Angel S. @WiseGuy_Is_Here 4d I mean, come on, James. See more Elisha I @asapidox 4d Peacemaker Season 2 takes everything that worked in the first season—the brutal action, pitch-perfect humor, and surprisingly deep character heart—and somehow turns it all up to eleven. While it takes an episode or two to fully find its rhythm, the show quickly locks into a perfect balance of chaos and emotion, delivering insane set-pieces alongside genuine, character-driven moments that actually land. The back half of the season is pure fire, culminating in episodes that are as hilarious as they are cathartic and epic. It’s a triumphant, blood-soaked, and emotionally satisfying blast that proves this team is one of DC’s best. See more jay s @DizzyAres 6d I finished this in one day. It's so entertaining and fun. John Cena nails it once again. See more Jamie P. @jleepn1 Dec 18 Just all around amazing show ! John cena steps into the role so well ! Never a dull moment See more Zane T @ZaneThind Dec 18 This to me is better than the first season. It's a lot more impactful and emotional. But after that finale there's still more to explore. Hopefully there's a season 3.
