Unlike season 1’s slow start, Peacemaker season 2 jumps right into the action while maintaining the crude humour that’s the show’s signature. However, the expanded cast and focus on new characters mean that old favourites have been left by the wayside.

The second season of Peacemaker joins the DCU as a deep character study rather than the action packed alien invasion story of the previous season. We follow peacemaker as he looks inward at himself and the cycle of violence that follows him. Is peace really worth all the men, women, and children he has killed to keep it? Or is there more to peacemaker. The intro also is still amazing and as each episode passes you will enjoy it more and more.

Tim meadows and eagly make this season worth watching imo. Lots of sprinkled in peak humor. Lots of storylines to follow. Mostly however, John cena actually makes for a pretty cool superhero.

Peacemaker is funny, entertaining, action-packed, and delightfully weird in the best possible way. John Cena proved to the world that he can genuinely act, using both his comedic timing and imposing physique to bring the character to life. It's a fun side story within the DC Universe that never takes itself too seriously while still delivering plenty of heart and great action. If this is the quality DC can achieve with its series, then in my opinion, they should focus more on TV shows and less on movies.
