Eric Bana is effortlessly watchable and more than capable of carrying the series. His performance brings a grounded weight to a story that, while occasionally scattered, remains intriguing enough to keep you invested. Set in what should be the breathtaking wilderness of Yosemite, the series oddly underutilizes its biggest visual asset. The location promises raw beauty and danger but is shot in a way that feels oddly tame. For a show titled Untamed, the wildness never quite comes through. Still, there’s potential here. The tone, cast, and pacing suggest a stronger second season could be on the horizon. Here's hoping the next round embraces the grit, scope, and chaos its title implies.
