Birithivy Y 08/29/2023 Kannai Nambathe - 7/10. In comparison to Udhay's last film, Kalaga Thalaivan, this is a better movie. The main issue though is that the director tries his darnedest to make a highly confusing storyline. And it has so much twists and turns, but the annoying thing is that certain things are glanced over and that there's some plot holes here and there. The constant jumping of timelines and flashbacks are also a bit annoying. The one thing I will give the film credit is that it does feel mysterious for the most part. It does the whole North By Northwest thing of having a reluctant hero thrown into a bad situation. Though its entertaining, and nice to see some 00's stars getting some shine, this movie is just okay in overall production. Entertaining with some flaws!
