Synopsis
Feeling spiritually lost in his native Estonia, Niika (Rain Simmul) retreats to the isolated Taiga Region of Siberia on a journey of self-discovery. Through various encounters with the natives of the region, he learns about many of the age-old myths that govern their lives and discovers love with local teacher Gitya (Dinara Drukarova). Yet, when Niika has a violent encounter with a black bear, an animal revered by the locals, he is overcome with guilt and must find a way to cleanse his soul.
