walter m "Keep It Quiet" is an engaging, yet discordant, family drama centered around two brothers, Gregoire(Fabrice Luchini) and Louis(Vincent Lindon) Jeancourt. They are both fabulously wealthy and recognizable on the street but that's where the similarities end. Gregoire has just been released from jail and meets his wife Agnes(Isabelle Huppert) in a cafe. Actually, Gregoire has always had something of a saintly persona, which might make it easy for him to be taken advantage of, but also hard for other family members to compete with as they have their own secrets and faults they do not want to share, as in all families. So, they hope Gregoire does not start now on national television. But then there is more than one form of exposure. All that is revealed of Gregoire's crime is that it involved protecting the workers at the family business which he inherited over his brother, forcing Louis to prove himself and become a television personality as a result. So, the attention that Gregoire gets is not due to the crime itself but because of the class he comes from. While he may not be the type of person who usually gets sent to prison, William(Ludovic Bergery) is. He takes off after just being released from prison, abandoning his girlfriend Stephanie(Vahina Giocante). With Stephanie, the movie takes an odd and contrived route, introducing her indepedentally of the brothers in the wake of a one night stand, before encountering Louis in a restaurant and Agnes at the salon where she works.
