Alain E @AlainE Apr 30 Surprisingly good low budget production about a university teacher with 1950s values in clothing and women. Shaun Benson does an especially good job portraying the creepy neighbor, while avoiding cartoonish exaggerations. Sawing of human bodies and explicit sex occur off screen. The Saab is driven by the boyfriend because the evil professor has upped his automobile game and is driving a Corvair. A lesson from the ending is that if someone plans to imprison any women in the basement, the females should not be allowed to bake pies. Odorless edibles like sushi and steamed rice with fresh fruit is strongly suggested. On Tubi. See more Steve C @SteveC1313 Mar 28 Well, it is a lower budget made for TV movie. I'm used to them being shallow snd poorly acted. That said, I was happily surprised. It kept my attention and was good for passing the time on a Saturday afternoon. I do concede to the fact that this was a low budget production and unfortunately the acting and dialogue does not make up for it like I had hoped it would. A movie I would be happy to never watch again. See more RICK S @RT66704355 03/17/2025 A really good Lifetime movie. Hadn't heard of Shawn Benson but he was terrific as the crazy next-door neighbor. This is the kind of weird part that Robin Williams use to play, Benson nails it. Don't skip it because it's Lifetime. It's very different and it moves at a good pace.
