Audience Member A touching story of people finding themselves and loosing other people in the process. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member No nyt oli oikein kunnolla suomalainen elokuva. Kaikilla meni päin persettä mutta menköön. Löyhässä on moraali. Elokuvan sankari oli oikeastaan vaan transumiehen tytär, muut kusi hommansa enemmän tai vähemmän. Ihan ok elokuva. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Director Simo Halinen made an outstanding and intense Finish psychological drama about sexual identities. Many questions were opened about love in modern relationships and how sometimes all these relationships are taken for granted with devastating consequences. I am not sure that we got all the answers, though, but Leea Klemola, Peter Franzén, Ria Kataja did their best with the highest acting abilities to help us understand this complex subject. We all agree that there is no ready-made model for love, and there is no need to discuss that part, but creating our own ways sometimes creates our own moral values which clash with the ones of the society. This drama is trying to be as realistic as possible but with the very edgy subject where has to draw the lines and sometimes cross them, it can feel familiar mostly for the European audience, while audience from Asia would probably feel estranged to the style and most of the dialogues. I enjoyed the movie: very artsy, open, hard hitting, excellent acting, screenplay could use some help but it was very solid in the first part while building up the story... If you are a fan of movies which raise questions of morality and love, and life questions in general, this could be thought provoking - check it out!
