We get bloodshed in slow motion, a few good men fighting until their last breath and a plaintive soundtrack to underline their immense sacrifice. It gets a little exhausting.

Akshay Kumar is the film. And he pulls it off, keeping that 'kesari pagdi' aloft right till the end, delivering thundering speeches while keeping his men's morale up.

Hmmm.... Full of sound and fury and cartoonish violence, and for them as like that sort of thing, this is the kind of thing that they like. Very much a vehicle for the star, and a tad fast and loose with the history. Was, left with the uncomfortable feeling had it been a European or US film it would likely have been moaned about as being Islamophobic, racist & possibly, homophobic (?). Cinematography was fine. Costumes; well, not for the purist, but it's a movie, so... Disappointing, because the real story is a fine one.

Wow A great movie with adventure, action, fun, exciting, and heart felt, Great acting, awesome cast, This movie is A must see. I was able to get fully absorbed into it from start to finish. Great filming location, special affects, timing & A movie you will tell AII to watch and see. I'm telling you it's well worth your time and add to your collection. God bless you all.

The movie was very engaging from the beginning to the end. Yes, the story must have been exaggerated, but it is on real extraordinary historical event. And those who did not know about the real event, they are in for a shock post movie how the actual event was beyond comprehension. Those critics who call themselves experts have left such a naive negative review that is is disappointing. Calling the movie to be "too much" bloodshed and killing that it becomes exhausting shows that they have no sense of the event the movie was made. It's like watching a baking show and complaining about too much baked products being made. I am ready to debate with these expert idiots to show how silly their comments are. If you don't like to see bloodshed, don't watch war based movies. Simple! This has to be one of the best battle based movies, up to the par of Dunkirk.
