Hart at least is making an effort to show us sides of himself that are much more relatable than the versions of him we see onscreen and in the tabloids. Go to Full Review

This isn’t a complete reinvention for Hart, but it is a return to a vintage form, to the focus on his family life and internal existential crises. Go to Full Review

Depechemark 5d Horrible. He's washed up at this point. See more It'sNotJustice I @Callyouyou Dec 4 This was painful to watch. Mr Hart would laugh uncontrollably trying to get out a... statement. Can't call them jokes. He seemed like he dialed it in on this one. See more Dec 4 Not what I expected from Kevin Hart. This is a horrible stand up routine. Not funny at all. I gave up and bailed halfway through. See more Patrina B Nov 30 Is it groundbreaking? No. Does it need to be? No. It’s Kevin doing what Kevin does since the first time he stepped on the stage; fast, loud, personal, dramatic, looping jokes back around in ways only he does. For me, that alone made it worth watching. And yes, I’d watch it again. Not his most legendary special, sure, but definitely far from his worst. It’s comfortably funny, consistent, and genuine enough that I found myself laughing out loud more than once. Not every joke had me in tears, but it gave me steady laughs the whole way through. Not perfect, not legendary, but absolutely fun. Sometimes funny is enough. A lot of comedy right now doesn’t hit people the same as the world’s heavy, everyone’s stressed, everyone is waiting to be offended but this special still knows how to break through. If you’re someone who actually enjoys comedic storytelling, who understands that stand-up means stepping out of your own reality and into the comedian’s, this special is enjoyable. It’s less about "relatability" and more about letting him take you somewhere else for an hour. True or exaggerated doesn’t matter, that’s part of the art. You follow the story, you catch the callbacks, you laugh, you enjoy. See more Alessia C Nov 30 What happened Kevin? Worst special he ever made. Slow, unfunny and very immature. See more Julie T. @Elephantrider_jpt Nov 30 Hilarious. The d in the bush story was funny AF. See more Read all reviews
