Asteria H After watching «Keys to the Heart», I definitely found three keys that absolutely open my heart: Dolly de Leon, Zanjoe Marudo and the last but not the least, Elijah Canlas. They made their roles so authentic with their excellent performances. Dolly de Leon, never exaggerates her acting as the loving and caring mother who secretly suffers from a disease. She just excells! Zanjoe Marudo, the lost son who unwillingly finds his way back to the arms of his mother, is capable of giving justice to his role without any embellishments. He is Joma. Elijah Canlas makes a very remarkable performance as Jayjay. He is so convincing as a young man with autism disorder who brilliantly plays the piano. I even thought at first, he is a real autistic person! Together, these three lead actors make an otherwise predictable film into fully watchable one until the very last scene. On the other hand, the movie shows kindness, forgiveness and compassion… the true Keys to the heart. … and Thank You so much for the music! Barbara Shulgasser Common Sense Media Keys to the Heart takes a while to get rolling, but once it allows its three lead performers to dig in, the audience is hooked. Rated: 3/5 Oct 18, 2023 Full Review Amanda Guarragi Ready Steady Cut This remake follows the same storyline, but it was changed a bit to have a wonderful role for Dolly De Leon. Director Kerwin Go made this a more emotional film because of the presence of the mother in her son’s life. Rated: 3.5/5 Oct 4, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews
