Stanley Kauffmann The New Republic Tuschi has a sharp sense of tempo and shot composition, and he obviously knows how to ask questions, because he gets good answers. Jun 19, 2013 Full Review Patrick Peters Empire Magazine A documentary that takes fewer prisoners than Putin's KGB, Tuschi's study of Russian power politics is smart, scary and sobering. Rated: 3/5 Mar 2, 2012 Full Review Paul M. Bradshaw Little White Lies Tuschi paints a complex portrait of corrupted power. Anderson San Francisco Examiner As Tuschi's film digs deeper, it seems to offer less information. Clearly, many people have been, and still are, affected by this phantom of a subject. This story is not over. Rated: 3/4 Mar 9, 2012 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member People like to paint this guy as having an ambiguous nature but first and foremost he's a man who commands and deserves utter respect for standing up for his principles in the face of Putin's gangster state. There is no alternative narrative to a man who chose prison over a simple life of luxury that was readily available to him. Khodorkovsky is championing an idea and an idea is more powerful than any actions that a small minded man like Putin can ever take. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member I was very interested in the subject matter but the pace and delivery of this documentary was arduous. I didn't get to the end. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Over stylised but gripping none the less Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Great documentary about a billionaire and Russia Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Curiuos and interesting documentary Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Endlessly fascinating.
