Audience Member In the tradition of wandering samurai films comes Kibakichi. The twist? He's also a werewolf. We learn of Kibakichi's past when he comes across a village of yokai (demons/monsters) trying to find their place in a world that wants to destroy them. When they are betrayed, Kibakichi unleashes his fury in a combo of classic samurai style and monster movie mayhem. It's a low budget movie, but that is part of its charm. It has a compelling and unique story and is worth a look. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member It started off promising, and then just didn't make sense story wise. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Fun flick and almost had a Nightbreed feel to it. Love the monster designs. Especially the Werewolf and Kappa creature designs were the best. Low budget but still well worth checking out if your into Asian cinema. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member I think it would be easy to dismiss this as Yojimbo on LSD; but despite featuring werewolf samurai, spider prostitutes and a cyclops, it actually had it's moments. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Werewolf Samurai, sounds cool huh, but this film was a chore to get through. Nothing really happens between the opening scene and the end. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Kibakichi is like licking an apes armpit all-the-while aiming against alliteration.
