William D Great movie. If you are a fan of the original Kickboxer movie you will love this one. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/07/23 Full Review ES As with the previous entry with Tong Po, played perfectly by Bautista, this is another great action flick. Poor acting at times drags it down, but it is still a remarkably good movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/28/23 Full Review katie l Fight scenes are awesome, JCVD always a good watch! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review jack r I love that it is a step up from Kickboxer Vengeance. It has great martial arts action including the 2 "on shot" takes. It is incredible that at 6'1", Alain Moussi, does all of his fight scenes and stunts including flying kicks, somersaults and falls. For great combat scenes this is the movie to watch! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review tommy n This is over the top and doesn't take itself too serious. But it is FUN!! The action sequences are plentiful and nicely done. HIGHLY recommended for action fans. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review sam p This movie surpasses its predecessor by miles! It delivers everything it's supposed to: martial arts action. The fight scenes are well designed and fantastically edited. The prison fight scene is in fact, a "one shot take" and contains no "magic cuts" which aside from the rest of the movie, is an accomplishment on its own. Rest assured that Alain Moussi does all of his own stunts and every single shot/fall he takes is real... If your goal is to be entertained by good combat scenes, this is the movie for you. Go see it! You will not regret it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

John DeFore Hollywood Reporter A stylish and enjoyable fight flick with just enough tongue-in-cheek content to keep us smiling. Jan 26, 2018 Full Review Simon Abrams RogerEbert.com A very dumb, and very satisfying throwback to a simpler time when American action films were as predictable as they were formulaic. Rated: 3/4 Jan 26, 2018 Full Review Craig D. Lindsey Village Voice A hysterically entertaining train wreck. Jan 25, 2018 Full Review Dominic Griffin Spectrum Culture There are smarter and more original action films to watch in the world, but few, trashy or earnest, are this consistently entertaining or brute force in their own honesty. Rated: 3/5 Jul 17, 2019 Full Review Ed Travis Cinapse As it progresses, scene after scene in Retaliation are infused with this crazy little thing called "fun", and Moussi feels much more at home than he ever did in the first movie. Nov 2, 2018 Full Review Ryan Pollard Starburst This film feels like watching a series of fight sequences that are loosely connected by a wafer thin plot.
