victor o I checked this movie out solely to see actress Connie Nielsen. In it she plays Susanne, the adoptive mother of a young boy, Simon, as after several years of comfort in their home in Denmark, they travel to Africa. The mom is there on business but due to a series of events, some of them selfish and others by chance is Simon lost in a poor village outside the safety of their hotel. What follows is the mother's frantic attempts to get her son back amidst the corruption of the town's civilians and authorities. It is a sad look at what happens when tourists are not careful when traveling in a different country. Whether its Africa, Latin America, Europe, or North America, people should not take the world for granted. It is a dangerous world for people living a sheltered existence. It is an okay movie and I do like Connie Nielsen's acting as well as the young Simon Larsen as the lost son. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
