TheMovieSearch R Kill Game is one of those horror films that tries to build intrigue and tension but ends up collapsing under the weight of its own confusion. From start to finish, it’s a disjointed, low-budget mess that never seems to understand what kind of movie it wants to be. The story is supposedly meant to be dark and thrilling, but what unfolds instead feels amateurish and aimless, leaving you wondering how it even made it past the editing room. The biggest problem here lies in both the direction and the screenplay. It’s as if the director never fully grasped the script’s intent, rushing through scenes without developing the necessary suspense or character depth. Everything feels half-baked, as though no one involved took the time to truly shape the material. The pacing jumps around without rhythm, and the dialogue lacks any natural flow, making it nearly impossible to care about what’s happening on screen. Even if the script had potential, the execution completely undermines it. The editing is particularly bad—awkward cuts, strange transitions, and an overall lack of cohesion that makes it feel more like a poorly assembled student project than a finished film. Instead of building atmosphere or fear, the film simply meanders through scenes that don’t connect emotionally or narratively. The acting doesn’t help matters either. Most of the performances feel stiff, forced, or completely detached from reality. It’s hard to engage with any of the characters when it looks like even the actors aren’t sure what’s happening. Combine that with dialogue that sounds like it was written in one draft and never revisited, and you have a viewing experience that borders on painful. There’s always a certain curiosity when watching independent horror—you hope to find that hidden gem, the low-budget project with heart and originality. Kill Game, however, isn’t that. It’s a confusing, frustrating experience that leaves you waiting for something interesting to happen, but it never does. In the end, this movie is just one to skip. It’s not scary, it’s not clever, and it’s certainly not entertaining. Sometimes, bad horror movies can still be fun, but this one is just dull and disappointing from every angle. Save yourself the frustration and move on to something better. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/23/25 Full Review Anthony B This is the kind of movie that you just watch with a couple of friends, and a couple of glasses of wine. Not the greatest, but certainly not the worst. Watch it...as it is worth the time. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/07/25 Full Review Jeremy A Ehh Wasnt really a game. Just a normal revenge slasher. Watchable. Cop acting was atrocious. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/17/23 Full Review sean s This is one of those post high school wrongful deaths/revenge movies. It is filled with lots of overly handsome actors who can't act real well. It is not terrible but not great. It is ok to pass the time as background noise, while surfing the Net though. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
