Audience Member Strong performances by all that exceeds expectations. The director must have been impressed by Rooney's physique as he had plenty of shirtless scenes. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member In his second film since coming back from war service MGM thought that a remake of the Robert Taylor classic from 1938 The Crowd Roars would be perfectly suited for Mickey Rooney. With a little post war updating it was in fact a perfect film for him now entitled Killer McCoy. Killer McCoy was a good part for Rooney. Sad to say in his next two films he was miscast and MGM dropped him. They should have given more material like Killer McCoy. *from IMDb I watched this because I had only seen one other Mickey Rooney movie, I think he would have been a kick ass leading man had he been a foot taller. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member good kinda boxing pic! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
