Audience Member A serviceable albeit safe film about the Reagan assassination attempt. It does everything it needs to to tell the story but nothing more. Worth a watch for history and politics buffs. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm a hardcore Democrat, however I really enjoyed seeing the way President Reagan overcame adversity to serve as the Commander in Chief. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member I was surprised by just how good this film was... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Just as amazing as Killing Lincoln and Killing Kennedy. Love these films. Informative gripping and well crafted. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Perfect adaptation of the Bill O'Reilly book with fantastic acting by Tim Matherson and Cynthia Nixon. Believe it or not this one produces actual suspense, unlike most made-for-TV movies. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member A very entertaining stroll down memory lane. This movie points out the primitive ways of American pop culture that existed 36 years ago, and how vulnerable Reagan was to attack 18 years after the assassination of JFK. Amazing performance by Tim Matheson. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Melanie McFarland Salon.com Someday there will be an engrossing cinematic portrait of Reagan that explores the man's faults and merits with equal measure. Killing Reagan is not that film. Oct 17, 2016 Full Review Sr. Rose Pacatte National Catholic Reporter It's an adequate made-for-television movie and the use of actual footage from the months covered by the film make it more realistic. May 26, 2017 Full Review Tom Gliatto People Magazine Tim Matheson captures the essence of the Reagan persona - a born performer whose public and private selves were so in sync, perhaps even happily, that they became indistinguishable. Oct 21, 2016 Full Review Mark A. Perigard Boston Herald Director Rod Lurie does a masterful job of serving the story and the emotions without sentimentality. Rated: B+ Oct 17, 2016 Full Review Roger Catlin rogercatlin.com Director Rod Lurie plays it down the middle, though he has a tough time replicating Washington in Atlanta, where the whole thing was shot. Oct 17, 2016 Full Review Ken Tucker Yahoo! TV The best moments are the quiet little conversations between Ron and Nancy. Matheson and Nixon are convincing as a close couple united by true love as well as common goals and ambitions. Oct 14, 2016 Full Review Read all reviews
