Kingdom is a decent action adventure that just takes a while to really get going. The performances aren't totally satisfying and the story isn't exactly hard to follow, but it does feel like it's trying to be more convoluted than it needs to be.

An abridged but great live-action sum-up of the first arc of the manga. As such, a lot of the character interactions that further built the dynamic between the group was cast to the wayside so it ended up looking like "things happening and everyone just goes along with it given the situation at hand". The action was over-the-top and beautifully choreographed. It's a great movie and I hope there are plans to cover future arcs.
