Great movie, especially a hidden gem when looking for new wlw movies to watch due to being starved for content. Can get a little cringe in some bits, but still worth the watch.

The two lead actresses really carried the movie—not that the other characters were bad I don't think there's any part of it that was bad, just that they were the most enjoyable thing to watch. It's a very cute and fun film.

This would have seemed groundbreaking as a sitcom in the 1970s era of Lear, and Peleg occasionally hits his kind of socially satirical notes for today. Every tired comic clash possible comes out - Israelis, Palestinian, Germans, Holocaust, Zionist, etc.
