While Lopez garners the most attention, it's Luna and Tonatiuh who are the MVPs. Tonatiuh is a revelation here, but the musical numbers and the songs didn't leave much of an impression.

I really enjoyed this movie. Tonatiuh was incredible here, and deserves to be a big star. Diego is excellent, and it's easy to fall in love with his character. JLo showed so much versatility, and to sing and dance that well in her mid-50's is mindblowing. While the setting in the prison did get a tad stale at times, and the ending chase could've packed a little more of a punch, the three main performances were all awesome! Hope to see some awards recognition for them + costume design/makeup

I liked the aspect of one of the men being a political prisoner and the other man telling him a story to distract him from their reality. Jennifer Lopez was a poor choice because she can’t sing, act or dance. She was a distraction that would take me out of the film. I still give it three stars because the men did such a good job.

If you like musicals and you like singing and dancing this movie is for you! From the very opening song Jennifer Lopezs voice sounds so pretty so Broadway! The hair the Makeup the wardrobe the entire cast is incredible. Watch one of the originals for reference all of them are great this one is just fabulous I have seen it twice and I will probably have to see the third time for the dancing. What a masterpiece!
