      Audience Member Sabu ist in Fankreisen ein sehr geschätzter Regisseur. So richtig begeistern konnte er mich aber noch nie, ich finde seine Filme wenig überraschend und oftmals etwas zäh. Was ich Blessing Bell allerdings nicht absprechen kann ist eine gute Atmosphäre und einige wirklich schön gefilmte Szenen. Es hat mir auch gefallen, Susumu Terajima endlich mal in einer Hauptrolle zu sehen, der Mann spielte eigentlich in allen japanischen Filmen der letzten 10 Jahre mit und fast immer sind es kleinere Nebenrollen. Dass Sabu ihm eine (bis auf das Ende) stumme Rolle gegeben hat wusste ich eigentlich schon als ich das Cover gesehen habe...
