Audience Member Peaceful scenery. Made for TV. Shallow. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member This is not a cute pet movie. This is a very real (and quite sad) story about a people trying to save a sick baby fox... It's good though for adults (and perhaps older kids) because it teaches a lesson about responsibility and the reality behind the way we handling and how we should handling the frail relationship between humans and wild animals... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Just let blind devotion touch your heart I wasn't expecting much from this movie at first because erm, I didn't think Quill was all that great and this movie was from Quill's producers. But right from the start, I was confronted with an interesting protagonist, Taichi who felt abandoned by his mum and was forced to live with her boyfriend--a vet--and his teenage daughter. That itself could have been enough substance for a movie but no, Helen the Baby Fox was so substantial than that. Taichi found a baby fox by the road. Nothing much to shout about but what happens when the baby fox turns out to be deaf and blind? Maybe i was easily triggered but i felt a pang of sorrow. Taichi of course wanted to take care of the baby fox but the vet was understandably more restrained--this is what life experiences do to you. Ah ha! "What do you think is the happiest thing for Helen?" "What can YOU do for Helen?" The vet challenged Taichi to think through his responsibility with these two important questions. And Taichi rose to the occasion and became a surrogate mother for Helen. And single-handedly taught it to drink milk and eat raw meat. Which explains why i started off with blind devotion. 幼小的心灵受到创伤, 还能义无反顾地爱。也不盘算回报。引人深思。 To classify this as a 温馨小品 is an insult because not only does it tug at your heartstrings, it engages your mind at a sophisticated level with thought-provoking questions and reflective actions from the cast. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member yet another cry-inducing furry-mammal drama. sigh Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Major tear-jerker. Helen nearly made me cry to dehydration. Always breaks my heart whenever a cute, fur-bearing critter dies, and I'm not even Rolf Harris!
