J W One of the greatest movies I've ever seen. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/04/24 Full Review gerald h just great - wonderful Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review sanal r A n enjoyable thriller with its fare share of dark humor Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Clever Austrian crime-drama. Gritty and funny, with some great performances. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member In my opinion only Brits and Austrians can pull off great black comedies and Komm, süsser Tod is as good as it gets. Although I don't really like Josef Hader as a Comedian he is the ultimate "Brenner" - policeman turned paramedic who gets involved in sinister intrigues of the ambulance/red cross mafia. It is the first adaptation of the popular Wolf Haas novels which comprise the (also great) sequels Silentium and Der Knochenmann. Komm, süsser Tod is my number one when it comes to Austrian films and I strongly recommend it to everyone who understands German as I doubt if dubs can get the humour across.
