Apart from Dougherty's film, Krampus has been used woefully as producers and directors seek to cash in on anything remotely seasonal. Perhaps it's time to leave this particular character alone.

Didn't flow well between scenes. There was no suspense... There acting was meh, probably due to the script. The Krampus character was hokey as all heck, low budget is painfully obvious. If you closed your eyes and listen to Krampus talk it was exactly like listening to the Ultimate Warrior from WWE. Why didn't anyone in production notice that? I should've watched it on shrooms or acid. Bummer.

Didn't realize this was a prequel film to both Krampus: The Reckoning and Krampus: Unleashed but I don't think it really mattered I watched this first. The acting is mostly god-awful and 80% of this film is a slow build-up to the reveal of Krampus and even then, it's a guy standing in a suit of armor that gives off dialogue long and drawn-out similar to an NPC.

B movie at best. Horrible acting. Super slow to start with. Bad effects. The story doesn’t make any sense either. Don’t waste your time. The first one was good....this one was far from it.

Knew we were in trouble from the opening crawl. Krampus Origins not only does not in anyway show us the origins of Krampus, it also tried to ruin Christmas.
