‘Kubrick by Kubrick' is a short documentary about the man himself, Stanley Kubrick. If you are familiar about the director and his movies, then this documentary will not offer anything new or interesting that you wouldn't already know. If you are no familiar with the director, only his movies, then I think you will get a little more out of this then me but will still be left unfilled. The documentary felt cheaply made and would often rush to the next segment without any satisfying conclusion to the topic it was discussing. Although, I did like the fact they let the man himself speak about his thought process and approach to film making through achieve audio from interviews years ago. Much better than people coming in trying to guess and interpret his approach to film making. Because sometimes the master of his craftsmanship approached things simpler than we thought. Sometimes on the spot without any real plan at all.
