Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express Karan Johar's debut, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherji, turned future Bollywood romances firmly towards a shiny GAP aesthetic. Aug 17, 2021 Full Review Nick Bradshaw Time Out For well over two hours the film is hectically entertaining, its performances, camerawork, storytelling and extensive musical numbers all energetically colourful. May 5, 2015 Full Review Katherine Singh Refinery29 Years pass and the pair reconnect, but you’ll have to watch the film for all the juicy details. This movie features a ton of funky (and sometimes cringe-inducing) '90s fashion. Oct 4, 2022 Full Review Film4 There are no prizes for guessing exactly how the film concludes, but all that really matters is that we enjoy getting there. May 15, 2015 Full Review David Parkinson Radio Times Karan Johar's directorial debut was much hyped before its release, but it offers little to distinguish it from the average Bollywood melodrama. Aditya S Though it is a classic and considered a landmark in cinema, K2H2 has aged like milk. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/19/25 Full Review Hiya I like every kinds of movies Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/01/25 Full Review Audience Member The first half was great upto Kajol's departure. Then everything just went downhill because of a poor story. i give it 3/5 for Kajol's first half, and the rest part of the movie ruined it. So 1/5 it is. Very bad story. Stupid scenes with stupid logics and stupid coincidences. There is a lack of effort to put up a sensible story. 2nd half was a time waste and was a disappointment. I could not bear to watch the 2nd half. It was very painful to watch. I have to skip through a lot of slow boring scenes which had no sensible story or logic. I wasnt able to connect the dots. It is 0/5 but still I think first half was great upto Kajol's departure. So its 1/5 for me. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/31/25 Full Review Serena K My fav childhood movie alongside K3G and Kaho naa pyaar hai <3 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/03/24 Full Review Muntha Hanif M The first half was great and depressing. But the child ruined it all. 1. she went to the mothers house and tould, her daugther Should marry her father. 2. she was reading the quran and praying, even though shes a hindu. Thats an disrespect to there religeon, just because she her to get married with the father 3. she went to summer camp even if the father didnt allow her. So terrible plot and an anoying cast. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/21/24 Full Review Lilly B This movie changed my life. SO GOOD! And the music is absolutely amazing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/24 Full Review Read all reviews
