The first half was great and depressing. But the child ruined it all. 1. she went to the mothers house and tould, her daugther Should marry her father. 2. she was reading the quran and praying, even though shes a hindu. Thats an disrespect to there religeon, just because she her to get married with the father 3. she went to summer camp even if the father didnt allow her. So terrible plot and an anoying cast.

Excellent This is the movie that introduced me to the wonderful world of Indian Cinema. I was 6 years old when I first saw Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and I instantly fell in love with it. I have since lost count of the number of times that I have watched it. This was director Karan Johar's debut movie. Talk about starting of with a bang. This movie is perfection. It lives up to it's tag line. They'll make you laugh..They'll make you cry...They'll even make you fall in love. It made me do all of these things. The songs are wonderful. The acting was fantastic. I love Kajol in this movie. She steals the show. I heard that Twinkle Khanna was actually considered as the first choice to play Anjali. That would have been the biggest mistake as I can't envision anyone else playing the role of Anjali besides Kajol. Shah Rukh Khan was also good. He was less irritating back then. His performance actually had some soul behind it. Rani was the perfect choice for Tina. Looking back at this movie now the only aspect that seems a bit redundant is the choreography. But you can't blame Farah Khan as things like dance moves revolutionizes with time. On a whole this is a beautiful piece of cinema and all I can say to Karan Johar and his entire cast and crew is thank. Thank you for making Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and giving me and the world one of the greatest stories ever told.

It is a comforting movie to the people like us. Who like to see love in the air. Shah Rukh is an actor who can make you fall in love even with his eyes.A young guy who was confused about his feeling and get married to a girl without knowing his best friend's feeling for him. But somehow he kept her in his heart always. He tried to find his Anjali in every relationship without knowing that and even in his daughter. After his wife's death he was all alone and didn't give a chance to himself to move forward. He didn't recognize his emptiness and his unconditional feeling to get back to Anjali. He kept her symbol the dopatta always with him. Until he met Anjali he didn't know he loved her without knowing. He danced like crazy and started to feel lively once again. Anjali who didn't have the feeling to fall in love again after loosing Rahul to Tina. Even after 8 years she couldn't resist to stand up for her unconditional love towards Rahul. Love doesn't know rules and conditions. If you love from your brain you are actually not loving it.
