Karan Johar's debut, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherji, turned future Bollywood romances firmly towards a shiny GAP aesthetic. Go to Full Review

For well over two hours the film is hectically entertaining, its performances, camerawork, storytelling and extensive musical numbers all energetically colourful. Go to Full Review

Years pass and the pair reconnect, but you’ll have to watch the film for all the juicy details. This movie features a ton of funky (and sometimes cringe-inducing) '90s fashion. Go to Full Review

Then everything just went downhill because of a poor story. i give it 3/5 for Kajol's first half, and the rest part of the movie ruined it. So 1/5 it is. Very bad story. Stupid scenes with stupid logics and stupid coincidences. There is a lack of effort to put up a sensible story. 2nd half was a time waste and was a disappointment. I could not bear to watch the 2nd half. It was very painful to watch. I have to skip through a lot of slow boring scenes which had no sensible story or logic. I wasnt able to connect the dots. It is 0/5 but still I think first half was great upto Kajol's departure. So its 1/5 for me.
