Frank Scheck Hollywood Reporter Teddy Chen's combination police procedural and kick-ass action film provides a sturdy vehicle for longtime Hong Kong star Donnie Yen, who at age 51 proves he's still in good enough shape to deliver all the right moves. carlos t Minha opinião: Donnie Yen é o nome da atualidade em #Hollywood com grandes papeis em #blockbusters Um filme de muita ação, do ínicio ao fim. Roteiro: Bom roteiro Vale apena assistir? Com certeza Nota: 8,75 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Liam D It might not be his best movie but it's still a fun Donnie Yen (14 Blades, Seven Swords) Thriller Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/21/22 Full Review Audience Member This is based off of the old idea in Chinese history to go around to different disciplines and styles/dojos and proving yourself to be the best, but in modern times. It's a classic premise with a new modern spin and era. Why it's rated so low, I don't know but this film will satisfy anyone who loves martial arts movies. I'm glad China is still trying to keep this genre alive, and this is one of the film's that is doing it. Based on the reviews here, I didn't expect much but I enjoyed this movie so I suggest you watch it if you're into this genre. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member High quality action and fighting sequences, with a plot that is good enough to carry the story forward from sequence to sequence. As long as you are going in to this looking for an escape into an action movie, then this is an excelent option. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Run of the mill story, lots of fighting. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Sure the plot is predictable and cliche but the action sequences are stunning. They are the best aspects of the film and each fight is fantastically choreographed, especially the final showdown. Donnie Yen is good (as usual) but I can't un-see him as Ip man- both roles are similar (martial arts masters). However, Kung Fu Killer is not up to the quality of Ip Man. Overall this is a decent popcorn flick, with stunning fight scenes. 6.5/10 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
