Writer-director Steve Oedekerk acquired the little known 1976 Hong Kong karate flick "Savage Killers," then seamlessly blended portions of the film with new material he has directed to create a wild, off-the-wall, comedy feature film. Oedekerk wrote, directed and stars in "Enter The Fist," placing himself digitally into the old film, re-dubbing the characters, as well as shooting new scenes.

Frank Scheck The Hollywood Reporter Naturally, much fun is made of the poorly synchronized dialogue inherent in kung fu flicks, but the gag pales with repetition, especially since Billy Crystal and Robin Williams did it better years ago. Oct 15, 2002 Full Review Robert K. Elder Chicago Tribune Not since Freddy Got Fingered has a major release been so painful to sit through. Jul 20, 2002 Full Review Marc Savlov Austin Chronicle Oedekerk's latest exercise in what I like to call 'the cinema of screechy hellsuck.' Rated: 0/5 Feb 3, 2002 Full Review Tim Brayton Alternate Ending Its best gags are great, but they make up something like 5% of the whole, and its middle-tier gags are pretty mediocre. Rated: 2.5/5 Sep 19, 2017 Full Review Betsy Bozdech DVDJournal.com Steve Oedekerk's ode to bad '70s Hong Kong cinema is a gleefully bizarre combination of loving homage and merciless satire, bad special effects and unexpected jokes. Rated: 3.5/4 Nov 9, 2006 Full Review Jean-François Vandeuren Panorama Totalement con et absurde, mais aussi totalement hilarant. Rated: 8/10 Oct 29, 2005 Full Review Read all reviews

Anthony L This Movie developed my childhood humor. I quote it everyday to this day! “Chicken go cluck cluck. Cow go moo! Ducky go quack quack, how bout youuuu!” “Taco Bell, Taco Bell, everything’s better and Taco Bell!!” Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/16/25 Full Review aaron b This movie is like a Tiny net, it is a net and it is tiny. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/03/25 Full Review stephen J If you're into old school martial arts films and you like sarcasm, lampooning, absurdity, self deprecations, absolute on screen simping for the most attractive female in the movie (which, if she were alive the day this movie was made, she'd be like 40 years older). This was one of the best creatives that made it at least into movie theaters and then gained a pretty good pop following. With the current age filled with wholly created AI generated content, this movie is the equivalent of a DJ making a mixtape on two seperate recording tape decks. lol The creativity and execution in 2002 was absolutely top notch. The furthest they went with video technology was putting in a Kung Fu Cow. In 2002 it was not only funny and creative, but used the current technology in a light way. You might think I'm AI. But, I'm definitely not. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/26/25 Full Review SKELETOR So funny it makes me cry laugh. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/19/25 Full Review LeBarn J However you rate this movie is purely based on how you watch it. If you call movies "films" and "cinema" it's a 1-star. If you want to laugh at how unhinged it is, it's a 5-star. KP:ETF is like getting pranked by a friend, being marginally annoyed, but then realizing you can prank someone else the exact same way and LOVING it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/07/25 Full Review Miguel T Kung Pow is one of those movies that only wants you to laugh by any means. If you liked Top Secret or Airplane!, you should watch it.
