Unemployed engineer Christophe (Paul Ahmarani) grants his actor roommate Stéphane (Stéphane Demers) permission to make a documentary about his search for a new job. Naturally, the project intrudes ever more deeply into Cristophe's private life, and the camera is present while he courts Odile (Geneviève Néron), a woman at the local supermarket. Worse, Stéphane begins to style himself a liberator of the proletariat and begins disparaging capitalism during his friend's corporate interviews.

Je ne m'attendais pas à ce que ce soit aussi constructif, aussi ''novatif'' comme style de réalisation. Sincèrement, tout au long du film, on reste rivé aux aventures de Christophe vues par les yeux mécaniques de Stéphane, et c'est franchement merveilleux. L'idée de la semi-fiction est aussi vraiment intéressante et rend le film réellement passionnant, et ce malgré un sujet assez banal qui se transforme assez vite en reality-show. Tout d'abord je crois qu'à un certain moment, il devient désagréable que Christophe méprise le fait que Stéphane le filme. Ça peut se comprendre au départ mais à la fin ils ne font que se chamailler pour rien. Également les portraits des P.D.Gs. sont plus ou moins crédibles puisqu'ils ne font que dire des statistiques en s'échappant de la caméra. Mais le reste est assez crédible et réaliste sans trop l'être. Il y a quelques moments drôles.
