In the 1960s, a group of hip young Parisians hang out at a club called Drugstore, winding their ways through the tricky mazes of growing up and pursuing relationships with the opposite sex. Worldly Nathalie (Alice Taglioni) invites the shy Philippe (Mathieu Simonet) to a party where she introduces him to the equally timid Charlotte (Cécile Cassel). Their attraction is instantly mutual, as is their uneasiness about how to pursue a romance. Meanwhile, Nathalie takes an interest in Charlotte's dad.
