Yaksha The story of Karnali was great. The search of the Gold Box was exciting, suspenseful, and thrilling. After the half time, the story was logical and smooth. The beginning was noisy. The climax was incomplete. Even though the team wanted to make a sequel, they should have completed this story. Such as reaching the home village, reuniting with his wife, setting up the nutrition center, and leaving the village to get the fund in exchange for the gold. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/07/25 Full Review Neelam It reminds poverty level of southern part of the Nepal. Second part of this movie is so sad because many people are dying due to lack of food. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/02/25 Full Review sushmita d Laj Sharam – A Complete Disappointment Unfortunately, Laj Sharam fails to deliver as a movie. The biggest issue is that the makers seem to believe the same formula from Bhadragol would work in a film setting, but it doesn’t. While the second half has a stronger storyline, it still fails to create an emotional impact. The first half is the worst part of the movie—completely unengaging and dragged unnecessarily. Dhurmus’ acting and role are not just disappointing but outright irritating. His character adds no value to the film and only makes it worse. Arpan Thapa's character is another wasted opportunity—he has no significant dialogues or moments that contribute to the story. I honestly don’t understand why his role even exists in the movie. The attempt at comedy feels forced, and instead of making the audience laugh, it only creates frustration. Another unnecessary addition is Hait's character, which serves no purpose and only makes the movie feel more cluttered. Similarly, Bijaya Baral’s role had potential but was completely wasted. His character could have been developed better and given a proper ending, but instead, it felt like an afterthought. The only saving grace of the film is the performance of the lead character from Karnali and his wife. They delivered outstanding performances, yet they had significantly less screen time compared to Dhurmus. It’s frustrating that the filmmakers couldn’t recognize this and make better choices. Overall, Laj Sharam is a huge letdown. Unnecessary characters, poor execution, forced humor, and wasted potential make it one of the weakest films I’ve seen. My rating: 1/5. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/16/25 Full Review ritizzes a Sound designer needs to be fired. Purna bahadur raised my expectation way too much. The story is the same overplayed trope of gold smuggling in nepali teleserials. Definitely not recommended. Only joy was seeing pade. Always cheers me up. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/02/25 Full Review suman p Acting from dhurmus was the worst Ive ever seen. Couldn’t bear to sit through till the interval and ended up leaving the theatre. 👎🏽 Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/01/25 Full Review Nabin U After huge expectations and hype, I decided to watch this movie but this movie is not even worthy of one star. Poor storyline, overacting, If they were making sakkigoni in bigger screen then its would have been better if they name it sakkigoni. Dont waste your time and money watching it.
