Laced has some solid ideas, but uneven performances and nebulous tension keep it trapped in the memory of better domestic thrillers. Go to Full Review

The intriguing moments are too few and fleeting. What Laced lacks is a singular focus — a point of contention for the character to vie for that naturally draws in the audience and builds suspense. Go to Full Review

The single location eventually limits the storytelling possibilities as much as it constrains the characters' options. Go to Full Review

Adam B 2d The majority of the cast members overact as if they are giving a stage performance. Shout out to Zach Tinker, whose acting is significantly better than that of everyone else in the movie. The production and photography are very good for a low-budget thriller. See more Stephen G @patient1 Oct 2 Don't know where I'm heading with this story, but so far, the intro into their lives leaves little to the imagination of what prompted our lead character into action. The plot thickens, and the guest list appears to be growing. I am unsure how this latest entry into this fiasco of an escape or adventure will lean into our next plot point. Starting to smell the horrid scent of betrayal wafting through the air, I truly hope in reading things wrong this time. Definitely worth the watch, and it's hopefully worth the wait until the finale. See more Jesse W 08/06/2024 I thought it was decent for a low budget film. Some of the acting was a little weak, but the shocking ending really freaked me out. I can't recall being that surprised by something in a movie in a long time! Whatever it lacks is more than made up in that shower scene. Hitchcock would be proud! See more Mick V 06/01/2024 Aaghhh! Couldn’t quite sit through a slow burner with no climax. Forwarded through this boredom… See more Olivia P 02/11/2024 What's missing in "Laced" is a clear focus—a central conflict or goal for the characters that would naturally engage the audience and create suspense. Instead, it features characters that lack direction and unnecessary shocking moments. See more Sarah D @sarahmdavie14 02/08/2024 This is a fun film, one location 4 actors. The actor's motivations are distracting and painful to watch at times but the story keeps moving along and no idea how it will end. It's a fun watch and on the whole the team did a great job bringing it to life. The Dracula imagery at the end was self conscious but again, I'm glad I watched it all the way through.
