Tim Brayton Antagony & Ecstasy A screamingly unnecessary sequel... [but] the best-animated of the Disney DTV sequels to that point, by an extraordinary margin. Rated: 6/10 Nov 14, 2012 Full Review James Plath Movie Metropolis It still has a direct-to-video feel, despite the care that the filmmakers took to create bridges to the original film. Rated: 6/10 Aug 14, 2012 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews In the end, Lady and the Tramp II never quite justifies its existence... Rated: 2/4 Jan 13, 2007 Full Review Kevin Carr 7M Pictures Knowing it came in that glut of sequels before they really got things figured out, it really isn't that bad. Rated: 3/5 Jul 26, 2006 Full Review John J. Puccio Movie Metropolis Like most sequels, this one doesn't live up to the original. Rated: 5/10 Jun 18, 2006 Full Review Scott Weinberg DVDTalk.com Sadly, and this annoys me to no end, 94% of the Disney sequels are just rotten. But that won't stop the studio from re-releasing the things. Rated: 2/5 Jun 17, 2006 Full Review Read all reviews

Natalie T i love lady and the tramp and was very happy it got a sequel! not as good as the OG of course but nothing ever is! worth a watch for sure.. cute movie!! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/13/24 Full Review Dale R The sequel to the 1955 film Lady and the Tramp, follows their son Scamp as he longs for life on the street instead of in the home. Like The Little Mermaid II, this movie has a similar plot to the original, just in reverse. Also like that film, it is very formulaic in plot and music. The animation here is well done and one of the best animated direct to home video sequels by DisneyToon Studios. The voice acting also stands out here with Alyssa Milano voicing Angel, the love interest, Jodi Benson taking over for Lady and Jeff Bennett voicing several characters including Tramp, Jock, Trusty and a really good Don Knotts impression for the dog catcher. I didn’t agree with the creative choice to show the human’s faces, as the original was seen from the dog’s perspective and this movie was not. This made it feel like it wasn’t in the same world we saw before. The music is forgettable at best, though I did feel that there was potential there, just not realized. If you enjoyed the first movie and the plot interests you, then this movie might be worth a watch. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/07/24 Full Review Derek L As much as Scamp's Adventure attempted to recapture the magic that the classic 1955 animation had, it ended being a rather mediocre product with a story that felt rushed with underbaked characters. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/01/24 Full Review tvkid9879 This was clearly aimed at an audience who could care less about the original movie. It really didn't need to be made, but it was made anyway. One of the biggest things that got me was a weirdly placed rap song? It just felt so out of place given the setting of the story. Hard PASS...
