Only the perennially indignant would have issue with it, and that's fine they will always have issue. I thought they could've done more with the conclusion of the championship, that part seemed like a bit of a copout. Music choice great, sounds like it was plucked right out of the 80s. See more Sep 10 This movie isn't funny, by any stretch of the imagination. Anytime a joke is lined up, they step on it. They don't have any subtlety to their comedy. They don't let a joke breathe, or the premise and setting be enough. They have to explain every single joke like they made this movie for children. On top of that, it's made by a bunch of people that say politics needs to be kept out of entertainment, yet a main character is played by someone that WAS the CEO of a political media company. Political commentators make cameos, as well as a Republican politician. And finally, a few of the lines are straight up political talking points. A character lists off a statistic, not as a joke, in a moment that's meant to be a heartfelt moment. This movie is the peak of humanity's decline. We have no care for one another anymore, it's just all about insulting someone as some sort of sickening self gratification. Lastly, they straight up steal a joke from the Monorail episode of The Simpsons, and it doesn't even make any sense in the situation they use it.
