They literally just copied she's the man and tootsie and dodgeball and many others movies with this same premise and made it really political. It's a pureflix film without the heavy religious undertones and with all the bad writing, editing, character arcs, and plot structure. There is too many character arcs that end in completely unfunny and lazily written ways even though this movie has an obvious anti-human sentiment and likes to act like the world in this movie is some dystopian journalist nightmare despite this supposedly being a, "Simple sports comedy," written by a big-time journalism/media company itself. Fans of the movie even claim it's secretly about protecting women's sports and making sure, "Their daughters don't get beat by a boy in a girl's basketball uniform," yet hammers down that nobody should care or watch women's sports with it's constant unfunny and unoriginal digs at the WNBA. Toy Story 3 earned it's 90% review with 250,000 reviews total. This film will more and more later on be considered more of a trash cult classic than a film that is deserving of it's user rating. Go watch Barbie or American Fiction, two recent and actually well-written films that feature the topics in life and American society this movie so awfully tries to comment on.

Half a star is generous at best. Poorly written movie that goes on way too long. This was supposed to be a comedy, right? Just confused by that since there really wasn't anything actually funny about the movie. It felt like I was watching a movie that was made over two decades ago, even then it still wouldn't be any good. The acting also leaves a lot to be desired with people either going over the top or delivering flat lines. Has the director actually directed a movie before, or did they just pull someone in off the street? If you're reading this, don't waste your time or money.

One of the most poorly done comedies I've ever seen. Michael Knowles is great in the movie, everyone else is written terribly. The message of the movie is not subtle enough, and the comedy isn't smart or well written either. The movie has multiple points in which it's trying to be a "kid" friendly movie, when the movie was advertised as bringing back the early 2000s fun offensive raunch, that comedy movies were at their apex. Then we are delivered drivle, if out of 100, it's a 7%

Mean spirited, poorly executed and just plain bad. It's odd how people who want to make media without letting politics get in the way can't help but spend all their time focused on their politics. Is it too much to ask for a comedy to be remotely funny. Possibly hire some competent comedians, writers and an actual director next time... or just don't make a next one.
