Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times It's no use comparing the book and movie versions of Lady Chatterley's Lover. They do not exist in comparable terms. They have nothing to do with one another. Rated: 1.5/4 May 8, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member It's not bad but it's not exciting by any means - it does what it needs to do to get through the story and then just cuts. The best scene is them sitting in bed, as Oliver puts baby's breath flowers in her hair - beautiful imagery in an otherwise shockingly bland film. Ken Russell's tv version was more fun. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member A Schmoregusboard of carnol delights - Hal Rudnick Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member very good photography and acting. However I like the version with Joely Richardson better. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Beautiful erotic story . The movie has adapted a complex book about class and women's desires very beautifully The sex scenes are sensual without being nasty...good movie Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Not bad for 80's eroticism. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Any version I've seen of this is the same...boring. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
