      bill t Of all the Lady Bathory films I've seen (I've seen Daughters of Darkness too, but that's a bit too far of a stretch of a comparison), I would consider this the best of them. It takes the story of Bathory, who killed off countless people to bathe in their blood, and frames it around 2 gypsy kids who find themselves forced to be servants of the Duchess or go to jail. Though not really true, this does tell it's story well, and although certain biographical details are ignored and some are made up (like the 2 kids) it provides enough entertainment not to be distracting.
